THE HOUSES OF THE DANCING SHADOWS

January 01, 2014

Houses of the Dancing Shadows is a short film, mixing choreography with architecture, and a citizen’s rightful duties. Some houses stand in the shade even in the high sun. Their shyness has faded, they have sunk into the oblivion of memories. When the sun sets, some shadows become monstrously long.

What happens with old houses? There is no life there anymore, only the echo of a fading history. We are accustomed to walking by them every day and not even noticing anymore. In these houses exists a murky silence, where one can experience floating dust, water droplets, and the crepitation of the decayed structures.
